Hotel's bar was lovely. Plenty of opportunities for short stay.
-
Good sized room, wonderful location & excellent breakfast. Very clean unit.
-
Lots of appetising food in the restaurant. Nice place for exploring Sheffield.
-
The hotel was clean and pleasant, room was very nice with excellent facilities and staff were continuously pleasant, friendly, helpful and polite.
-
Excellent location and value for money, good service with friendly helpful staff. Will definitely recommend to others.
While the evening meals were well presented, they were only average compared to the same value at other venues.
-
Excellent countryside location, only 5 miles from Sheffield. Good food and clean, spacious room. Friendly attentive staff.
Occasionally music in bar/dining room a bit noisy. OK in evening, but breakfast ? slightly inappropriate. Something more subdued, perhaps Radio 2 ?

Enjoyed our visit very much and will stay there again
-
Friendly staff, rooms decorated tastefully, lovely countryside, far enough out the city to feel relaxed
-
the room was lovely, everything was clean shower was fantastic best one i've used in a hotel. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was very good and not a bad price. The views were to die for and I would love to come back here again to explore the peak district a bit more. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience.
there was nothing I didnt like.

I arrived late in the evening at the hotel - around 10.15pm - but the duty staff were excellent. They rustled up some food in double quick time - even though the kitchens had closed at 9.00pm. Friendly, efficient check-in with brief explanation of facilities and procedure for breakfast. Well done!
My room was at the front of the hotel - close to the road and directly opposite a T-junction. This meant headlights shining in my room during the night and it was really noisy, especially during the morning commute in to Sheffield. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel and it should be quieter! Bed mattress very soft. Carpet stained.

l was made to feel very welcome on arrival & was able to change my room as l stated a preference for a room on the first floor with a view of the fields. The manager delivered my luggage to the new room & l was offered a complimentary drink. Excellent value for money, good wholesome food & a very attactive bar. Cosy wood burners made the place seem very warm & cosy. l would definitely recommend & stay at the Norfolk Arms again.

The view of countryside, Llamas & Horses in the fields to the rear of the hotel.
-
Very clean large rooms and the food was really really good ! helpful staff good views, although I was on a business trip there seemed to be a lot of walkers / cyclists stopping for a meal or refreshment. Definatley recommend for a weekend break or overnight stay

Excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal for exploring the area. Lovely room. Evening meal washed down with a few real ales and breakfast ok too. Would absolutely recommend - a real find!!
